NFL And Time Warner Cable Reach Deal: NFL NETWORK FOR EVERYBODY!

For the longest time, the only major cable television provider in the United States that was not offering the NFL Network was Time Warner Cable. That changed yesterday, as the provider reached an agreement with the National Football League that will finally allow them to add the NFL Network and the Red Zone Channel to their channel listings.

The NFL Network will be a part of Time Warner's basic digital cable package, while the Red Zone Channel will be a part of a special sports package. The change will take effect for Time Warner in time for tomorrow's NFL action.

Time Warner Cable is the provider for approximately 12 million people in the United States. I know that a lot of our readers here are under the Time Warner umbrella, and now they'll have the NFL Network to be able to catch not only all the highlights and the original content they provide, but their live Thursday Night Football action as well. . .particularly the Week 8 match-up at the Metrodome between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Minnesota Vikings.

So, rejoice everyone. . .now there's no excuse for not having the NFL Network in your home.
